Lupo|Coyote
Lupo | Coyote is a collaboration between drummer/producer Alex Lupo and Dom Coyote. Their sound mixes polyrhythmic electronica with distorted, ghost like vocals, found sounds recorded on old tape machines and slowly warping Melotrons.
Lupo | Coyote explore the space between folklore and modernity. Their first single, All Clear, was inspired by the parade of the Minehead Hobbyhorse, an ancient tradition that still takes place in the Somerset town where Lupo grew up. They released the standalone track, banshee’s toot, on Limbo Tapes’, ‘A dozen things to do in limbo’ in Jan 2020. Two E.Ps, Ritual 0.1 and Ritual 0.2, were released later in 2020.
